Dear partners.

It is with desolation that we have heard about a stampede in Seoul causing hundreds of deaths and many injuries. This was a hard blow and a tough moment that the entire South Korean community (and the families that have lost their loved ones) has just gone through.

Thus, REMED and all the Ushirika women  would like, through this email, to sympathize with the entire South Korean community and in particular the South Korean council and the bereaved families and those whose members were seriously injured.

We know that it has not been too easy to overcome this, considering its effects on human lives and material damage caused by this unfortunate event.

Once again, we reaffirm our solidarity and moral support to the South Korean Council, the affected families in particular, and the entire South Korean nation in particular.
